Thickness 0.2mm with special embossing, allows very good formability, reflects thermal radiation.
Use in exhaust systems – exhaust manifolds, downpipes, catalytic converters, DPF filters. The last three photos example of application.
Material heat-resistant stainless steel 1.4828 (AISI 309) resistant to corrosion and high temperatures.
In combination with self-adhesive silicate mat gives a long-lasting and safe thermal insulation effect. Safe because heat-resistant stainless steel does not absorb liquids, oil, fuels, unlike other types of exhaust system insulation.
