Wastegate blanket size 60mm.
The blanket is designed to lower the temperature under the hood of the car through thermal insulation of the wastegate. Wastegate heat is retained inside the system, which increases the exhaust temperature. The heat retained by the wastegate blanket also has a positive effect on the temperature of cooling components such as the Intercooler or the radiator.
Thermal strength up to 1250oC.
Includes a blanket and springs to hold the wastegate blanket.
Inner layer additionally reinforced with stainless steel mesh.
Note!
The cover is not fire proof! Any leakage of hot liquid can cause a fire. We recommend that you accurately diagnose the wastegate and oil lines before putting on the cover.
After prolonged use, it is not recommended to disassemble the cover. The material loses its elastic properties and may not be reusable! The material does not lose its thermal properties!
